The journal club is back!

The "Quantum black holes on the plateu" Journal club,  temporarily stopped due to Covid-19, will start again at a new time and new location:

where: ENS Paris (Montagne Sainte-Genevieve, so still a hill, if not a plateau)                      

            24 Rue Lhomond, Paris 75005

            salle L361 (24 people), a priori reserved on 19 & 26/10, 09/11, 14 & 21/12

            salle L382/384 (16 people) reserved for  12/10, 02, 16, 23 & 30/11, 07/12

when: the JC will take place on Mondays at 2 p.m. , in principle every other week. 
 
          The actual dates will be announced progressively on this website.


The first JC of the new series will be given

  • on Monday, Oct 19th, at 2 p.m. in salle L361, Giuseppe Policastro will talk about "Bra-ket wormholes in gravitationally prepared states" by Chen, Gorbenko and Maldacena arXiv:2007.16091

First four journal clubs in 2020

  • on Friday, Jan 17th at 10 a.m. sharp Guillaume Bossard will talk about the 1965 paper by S.
